For Our Own Goods - FOOGS

So I had a conversation with a friend this morning. I woke up not feeling well. stuffy and thirsty. He said to me that it seems like I have been not feeling well for a while. (couple of months) I have blamed it on allergens in the air. cedar, new living environment, but it got me thinking.

I try to eat healthy and organic, but I may be missing out on certain vitamins. What do you recommend that i take as just an overall daily supplement. Should I just take a regular multivitamin?

Dear Rachel, of course diet is the first to look at to make sure you are getting enough food and nutrients. I personally think a multivitamin is fine and never hurts to take; but if you are eating nutriious foods; then you don't really have to take it everyday, three times a week would work. You already know to stay away from the synthetic vitamins.. Also, Olive Leaf capsules are really good for the immune system; either dry or liquid; fish oil, vitamin C by itself, and vitamin B12 as energy booster. Hope this helps.
Hi Rachel,
I take a supplement my nutritionist recommended to me called Juice Plus. It has really boosted my immune system and improved my digestive system, too!! Tusa
Awesome, thank you Christine!

You might look into big doses of Vit D to boost immunity especially to flu-like ailments (various viral infections); if you can't get anyone to verify this verbally, it won't hurt you if you try it anyway to see if you respond well. Give it a while because it is easy to give up too soon.
