RECIPE!! Treat Balls (title by JBird)
(Sugar-free, Gluten-free)

1 ripe banana
1 heaping Tbsp Almond or Peanut Butter
2 cups crispy brown rice, kamut, or millet cereal
sprinkle of cacao nibs (optional)
sprinkle of raisins (optional)

Mash banana in a bowl, add almond or peanut butter & continue mashing until you've got a nice "syrup." If you're adding the cacao nibs & raisins, do it now & mix them into the syrup. Add cereal & mix until well combined. Form into balls & place on a cookie sheet. Freeze for 1 hour.
Enjoy!

These will keep in a freezer-safe tupperware for about 5-7 days, if they last that long!! Transfer them after they've frozen on the cookie sheet to avoid creating a giant clump.

Terrific idea, guys. I can see my kids using this, as well as my students next year when we start our own veggie garden!!!

I am hoping my daughter (10-yr-old) will find things of interest here; I see there is already a lot here and we are fans of the NWF. Now we have links to follow!

We think of her as quite a healthy kid, but her diet still includes pesticides, hormones and GMOs (i.e. I still shop at HEB). Little by little we get more and more organic and aware of choices and sources.
