We want to hear from you! How are you spending your off-gardening season?

For a lot of the country, Spring is about to "Spring" and Winter is about to "Fall" away.  (Sorry, had to do that. :))    Those of us that are lucky get to start Gardening activities this week.  For my part, this weekend, my kids and I are going to do the following: 

• Till my garden
• Clean up all the old, dead vegetation
• Start the new compost pile
• Start working existing organic humus into the soil
• Start pulling emerging weeds and laying down a weed barrier

I wonder though, what people who are still living with Winter weather are doing in anticipation of Spring gardening?  I have heard of people doing a few things such as:

• Collecting and sorting seeds
• Perusing magazines for gardening/landscaping ideas
• Planning and plotting garden layouts
• Researching pest and weed controls
• Researching Organics
• Reviewing planting schedules

We would love your feedback!   What are YOU doing to get ready for Spring gardening?  We would love your ideas and hope that all FOOGS friends and members here and on Facebook can benefit.
