Great question! You actually hit the nail in the head as far as setting up "local groups". One of the things that people can do here is set up their own groups and draw membership through invitation and peer marketing. So For example, there are a few people on here from Dallas, some from Austin, Some from Colorado. Each can have their own groups and have discussions about items of local interest. Part of the overall plan is to even take it further, down to the neighborhood level, in order to and raise the level of food growth, trade, and overall interaction between neighbors. I'm really glad you 'get it' and I like your question so much, I'm going to quote it on a general post if you don't mind?
