Hi, I wanted to pass on my experience with using Earth Boxes. I've been using them for the past 4-5 years now and they are low maintenance and very productive. They hold about 2 cubic feet of potting soil. There is a water reservoir in the bottom and as long as you keep the reservoir filled you will be happy with the results. I use organic fertilizer and potting soil from my local home improvement store. Vegetables really do well in these containers. I don't have to till the soil or weed or any of that stuff. There is a cover to keep the weeds out and you can place the container anywhere you can find a level spot and sunshine. Wanted to bring my experience to everyone so they may have the opportunity to enjoy hassle free gardening with excellent results like I have. I'm in no way affiliated with Earth Box other than the fact that i have been using them for years with great results. I have about 10 of them and plant cukes, melons, beans, Romaine, zucchini, eggplants, tomatoes, etc, all with great results. The soil doesn't compact with the water reservoir and the roots grow quickly with the wicking effect this system utilizes. I attached a pic of my tomato plants Here is the link if you are interested:
