Family Farms and Local Foods Education Day at Texas State Capitol
February 21, 2011 from 10am to 3pm
This is a free event, open to the public, and organized by the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance (FARFA). Come join us for this great opportunity for Texas citizens, farmers, ranchers, and food producers to speak up for local food systems. - What would you like to get out of FOOGS?
- I have started a non-profit CSA in Austin TX called, Urban Patchwork. It is growing and is meant to be in every neighborhood in Austin. We want to educate, research and provide healthy, sustainable, affordable food to everyone.

We had the Community Gardens then, but I had a big yard and stayed home; are they still there? Mostly, gardening seemed to be "fringe" behavior back then (not THAT long ago) and CSAs did not exist. Kudos and best wishes. Welcome to FOOGS.
