Come for hoppin' sack races, trivia contest prizes, free hot cocoa for kids, multiple chef's demos, tastings, music all day and MORE! Help Austin Farmers' Market and Sustainable Food Center celebrate our move into historic Republic Square Park as the home for the market. You can browse through more than 70 tents, visiting dozens of farmers and food vendors as you stroll the park. Enjoy the new 4,000 sq.ft. deck that is our new cafe area under the historic Auction Oak, more green grass than any farmers market in Austin has seen in a while (besides the AFM at The Triangle on Weds nights, where there is also grass, some 2 acres of it!). We've got produce, fruit, eggs, honey, plants, milk, cheese, tofu, drinks, ready-to-eat foods, specialty foods, flours, pecans, wine!
Plenty of FREE Parking at State Parking Garage (3rd and San Antonio, just across the street from the market) and the LAZ northern half of a parking lot--also across the street from the market. MORE THAN 900 SPACES!
